Owner and Founder of Highland Holistic
Jennifer (she/her) is a Licensed Acupuncturist and Board Certified Herbalist. Jennifer studied at both the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (PCOM) in New York City and Emperor's College in Santa Monica, CA where she graduated summa cum laude and received the Dean's Scholarship. She has done internships at the Roy and Patricia Disney Family Cancer Center at Providence Hospital in Burbank, and the Being Alive HIV Clinic in West Hollywood. She has also completed CranioSacral Therapy training (CST 1 & 2) through The Upledger Institute. She studied Herbal Dermatology with the esteemed Mazin Al-Khafaji, and is a member of the International Registry of Chinese Medicine Dermatology & Inflammatory Disease. She also incorporates aspects of Functional Medicine in her practice, utilizing lab work to inform her treatment strategies when appropriate.
Jennifer's clinical interests include the use of herbal medicine for dermatology work, and acupuncture, herbal medicine and/or nutritional counseling for pain management, psycho-emotional issues, adrenal fatigue, inflammatory bowel disease, thyroid disorders, and internal medicine.

Kaylie Hopper, LAc, MTOM
Kaylie (she/her) is a Licensed Acupuncturist and Board Certified Herbalist. Kaylie studied at Emperor's College in Santa Monica, CA where she graduated summa cum laude. She also completed an internship at the Roy and Patricia Disney Family Cancer Center at Providence Hospital in Burbank. Kaylie is committed to bringing a trauma-informed awareness to all of her treatments and protocols by using body-informed clinical skills to support and balance regulation in survivors of traumatic stress. She has trained under Alaine Duncan and completed her year-long Tao of Trauma training and is currently enrolled in the three-year training to become a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP). Although she treats a broad range of conditions, she does specialize in all-inclusive reproductive health, fertility, hormone balancing, and menstrual cycle regulation.
Kaylie’s clinical interests include all-inclusive reproductive health, infertility, irregular menstrual cycles, emotional trauma, digestive disorders, anxiety, depression, pain management, endocrine dysfunction, adrenal fatigue, and supplementary support during cancer treatment.

Christian Toscano, LM, CPM
Christian (she/her) is a California Medical Board Licensed Midwife (LM), Certified Professional Midwife (CPM), Craniosacral Therapist (CST) and Clinical Herbalist. Since 2010 she has attended hundreds of births at home, birth center and hospital; many of which were "VBAC's" and water births. She graduated from Birthwise Midwifery School, a MEAC accredited 3-year program. She worked at a reproductive health clinic providing abortion services, gynecology, pregnancy support and fertility counseling. She trained with Spinning Babies in optimal fetal positioning and body balancing techniques. She studied at the Northeast School of Botanical Medicine and assisted the Clinical Herbalist Director at a free community health clinic. During this time she assisted the Director and Clinical Herbalist at a free community health clinic. She is certified in Craniosacral therapy from the Life Energy Institute. She offers full spectrum midwifery care for the reproductive and menopausal years. Her work is gender affirming, trauma informed and sex positive. She wildcrafts, grows and extracts the botanical medicines offered.

Maureen Black
Maureen (she/her) is a Reiki Master in the Usui Ryoho System of Reiki, is a Holistic Nutritionist and holds a Certification in Yoga Therapy. She completed her Level I Reiki training with Alexandra Juliani at The American Reiki Academy, and her Level II training with Tanya Love at Spirit House Collective, her Master Practitioner level with Sue Vazal of Reiki Room, her Holy Fire III Reiki training with Purnima Chaudhari of Inner Journey Reiki, and the first 2 levels of the Egyptian Reiki system of Sekhem Krhem with Jaclyn Kalkhurst. She received her Certification in Holistic Nutrition from the AFPA, and her Yoga Therapy training was through Lea Kraemer, of the Prana Mandir yoga school, with emphasis on the tradition of Kundalini Yoga. She received her Certification in Holistic Nutrition from the AFPA and has recently completed a certification in the personalized nutritional system of Metabolic Balance for which she does one-on-one coaching. She lives in the Echo Park hills with her cats Bumba and Shadow where she loves to cook and come up with recipes that fit into protocols of restricted diets, spending time in nature, and adventuring throughout California.
